The thing that jewellery really benefits from in terms of its longevity is space, because when you have everything layered right on top of eachother or squashed together, that’s when it tends to tarnish and get tangled and damaged. So, the first priority is getting space to make sure you can see everything clearly, that it looks great but also that it doesn’t get damaged.

The next thing you need to do is sort everything into piles. Take your jewellery out of its current storage and sort it into piles on your bed. Separate into earrings (and then sub categories like earring charms, stud earrings, dangly earrings, etc), bracelets, necklaces, so on. So, you can get an earring one, a bracelet one, a necklace one, and so on. Then you can have them neatly stacked together at one end of your wardrobe. This works really well if you can’t really afford to sacrifice a whole drawer for your jewellery.
